Perforating

Industrial laser and electrostatic perforating

  1. Industrial Laser perforation. Micro and Macro laser. Perforations are created by vaporizing paper with laser beams. The micro laser holes are smaller and are hardly visible. The macro laser holes are larger and are visible. Laser perforation is suitable for the creation of high porosities.
    Suitable for papers or plastic films.


  2. Electostatic (or Zone) perforation. The web is perforated with electrostatic discharges which penetrate the paper. This randomly creates minute perforation holes, which are suitable for lower porosities and are not normally visible on the finished product.
